Terms & Conditions

1. Programme Overview

MadBid customers who have purchased Credits are automatically enrolled into the MadBid Loyalty Programme. MadBid reserves the right to award discounts to users based on the value of purchases made by the users and calculations based on MadBid’s evaluation. The minimum age to be a legitimate MadBid user is 16 years old. As such, the MadBid Loyalty programme is also offered only to users who are 16 years or older and remain subscribed to MadBid.com. Entry into the MadBid Loyalty Programme, ability to convert Loyalty Points to Credits & other benefits will be at the sole discretion of MadBid.com. The Loyalty Programme may be modified by MadBid.com as & when required, without giving notice or any form of communication to Loyalty Programme participants as individuals or groups.

2. Duration & Account Termination

The MadBid Loyalty Programme is active as of 19th October 2009, and will continue at the discretion of the management of MadBid.com, who reserve the right to dissolve the Programme at any moment, without giving any form of notice or communication to its members. Each individual customer is automatically enrolled into this Programme on the purchase of a MadBid Credit Package.

MadBid may terminate user access or suspend user eligibility for the Loyalty Programme and its benefits or terminate the right of access to MadBid.com as a whole without notice, for any conduct is considered to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

3. Collection of Points

Users of MadBid.com will automatically collect Loyalty Points on every purchase of Credits. The number of Loyalty Points credited to the user's account will depend on his Loyalty Level. MadBid.com's management reserve the right to change the number of Loyalty Points awarded at any time, without giving any explanation to the Loyalty Programme users.

4. Redemption of Loyalty Points

Under the MadBid Loyalty Programme, users are able to exchange their Loyalty Points, in lieu of payment, for MadBid Credits or for rush deliveries (Please see point 5). The conversion rate of Loyalty Points to the equivalent Credits will be set at the discretion of MadBid management and can be changed at any time without giving any prior notification to the Loyalty Programme users.

5. Rush Delivery of Products

Depending on their Loyalty Level, the Loyalty Programme users will have the option to rush order up to a maximum of two products per month.

  • “Products” pertain to auctions won by the user for which a confirmed payment has been received.
  • “Rush Delivery” is limited to MadBid sourcing the product on priority from its suppliers. MadBid cannot, however, guarantee the shipment / delivery date of the product as this depends on the availability of the product & the ability of the supplier to deliver the product on time.
  • Products that require assembly (e.g. Dell Computers) and Cash products cannot be requested for Rush Delivery.
  • MadBid reserves the right to change the list of products that can be opted for Rush Delivery at any moment.
